Nicole has extensive local government experience, serving as Assistant City Manager, Deputy City Manager, Public Works Director, Parks, Recreation & Libraries Director, Budget Manager, and Assistant to the City Manager. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in Urban Governance from Arizona State University where she also taught City/County Management in the MPA program and currently serves as a curriculum advisor for the School of Public Affairs. Nicole is the co-founder of Arizona Women Leading Government, is a national partner with the League of Women in Government, and has presented at conferences for the International City/County Management Association, National Forum of Black Public Administrators, Local Government Hispanic Network, and the International Public Management Association of HR professionals.
