Includes a Live Event on 06/03/2020 at 1:00 PM (EDT)
In a matter of weeks, the work world as we know it changed. And the return to normal – when that comes – won’t look anything like what we were used to. The rise in telework has presented a whole host of concerns ranging from technology issues – privacy, cybersecurity, and hardware/software needs – to human resources issues – telework policies, training, teambuilding and morale.
ICMA welcomes two experts in the fields of online training and human resources for a webinar to discuss the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the local government workforce: Tim Rahschulte, Ph.D., CEO of the Professional Development Academy, and Erika Philpot, Human Resources Director of Coconino County, Arizona. You will discuss:
- Technology trends
- Privacy issues
- Cybersecurity concerns
- Virtual meetings
- Online learning
- Telework policies
- Staggered work schedules
